Larry R. Gosen

Larry R. Gosen Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved father, grandfather, and brother passed away on December 8, 2017, at the age of 77 years. Larry was born July 26, 1940, in Saginaw to the late Ralph and Anna (Morningstar) Gosen. He served in the U.S. Army. While serving in the military he met the love of his life Maria Schneider. They married on September 22, 1961; she predeceased him November 26, 2007. He earned a MBA from Western Michigan University. He retired from Delphi/General Motors in 1998 after 34 years of service. He served on the Board of Directors for Wanigas Credit Union for 40 years. Larry avidly hunted geese, deer, and turkey on his small local farm. He enjoyed golfing, snowmobiling, and dealing Blackjack for various charities throughout Saginaw. He will be missed by his children, Daniel (Karen) Gosen and Jeffery (Angela) Gosen; grandchildren, Mara, Eric, Brenna, and Mac; siblings, Nancy Riemenschneider and Tom (Linda) Gosen. He was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Mike Riemenschneider. The family would like to thank Helen Gulliver for the friendship and compassion she gave to Larry throughout the years. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 11, 2017, at Swan Valley United Methodist Church 9265 Geddes Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial to follow in Oakwood Cemetery under the auspices of American Legion Post 439. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Rd. and again on Monday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
