Larry Henry Miller

Larry Henry Miller Grand Rapids, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Passed away Saturday, August 5, 2017, at St. Marys of Grand Rapids, Hospital. Age 69 years. The son of the late Henry and Luttie (Simmons) Miller was born May 7, 1948 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Ellen McLeod, August 18, 1973. She survives him. Larry served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was a graduate of Arthur Hill High School and received his Bachelor of Science degree in Food Service Management from Cornell University. He retired from the Food Service and Supermarket Industries in 2007. He was of the Lutheran faith. Surviving besides his wife, Ellen, are two children, David Miller and his wife, Jennifer; Melissa Miller and Lawrence Lyles; five grandchildren, Noah, Grace, Anne, Amir and Tyson; his sister, Sharon Briggs; his brother and his wife, David J. and Rita Miller; his brother-in-law, John McLeod; his nieces and nephews, Marcie Mielke, Lenny Weigandt, Dan Weigandt, Jay Miller, Kristen Miller, Stacie McLeod and Jay McLeod. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 10, 2017, at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Rev. Robert Tibbitts will officiate with Military Honors under the auspices of American Legion Post #439.
