Larry was born on March 21, 1945, in Saginaw, to the late Joseph Paul and Maxine Dolores (Brown) Minicky.
Larry proudly served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as the head of his production line at General Motors. Larry loved being up north in Hale at his cabin.
Surviving are two daughters, Caroline (Roy) Green and Katie Jo (Michael) Roe; grandchildren, Courtney, Ashley, Sarah, Hailey, and Landen; great-grandchildren, Aliviah, Devin, Carter, Ethan, Jordan, Amelia, Claire, Paisley and Makenna, brother, Joseph (Lillyanna) Minicky of Italy, sister, Sandra Diffin Rochon of Port Huron, best friend, Joe Benkert, many nieces and nephews and other relatives.
He was predeceased by his parents and two siblings MaryAnn Jackson and Jimmy Minicky.
Honoring Larry's wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 18, 2022, at the VFW Post 7542, 11325 Dixie Hwy, Birch Run, MI 48415. Those planning an expression of symapthy may wish to consider St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
