Krista Jean Roenicke

Krista Jean Roenicke West Branch, Michigan Loving daughter of Angela Marie (Lozano) and Michael Anthony Torrez passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018. Age 16 years. Krista was born October 13, 2001 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a student of Heritage High School until moving to West Branch, Michigan. She was currently a student at Ogemaw Heights High School. She was a former member of Community Baptist Church. Krista loved music, playing the drums and guitar. She was very artistic. She enjoyed the outdoors, being by the water, and recently completed her hunter safety course. She enjoyed participating in wrestling. She loved her dog, Rambo. Surviving besides her parents, Angela and Michael, are three brothers, Mark Roenicke, II, Keith Dawson, II. and Ezekiel Torrez; her grandparents, Janet Lozano and Susan Torrez; her aunts and uncles, Jacobo Lozano, Rebecca and Aristeo Robelin; Daniel Torrez II and his wife, Julie; several cousins, other relatives and friends. She was especially close to her youngest cousin, Danielle (Dani) Robelin. Krista was predeceased by her grandparents, Cruz Lozano and Daniel Torrez Sr. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 9, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Pastor Jeff Hawes will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-4:00 and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and then on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
