Kenneth C. Thom

Our loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020. Age 75 years.
Kenneth was born on November 29, 1944, son of the late Leo and Lenora (Brandt) Thom, in Saginaw. He married Nancy Miller on June 26, 1965. She survives him. Kenneth retired from Saginaw Steering Gear after many years of service and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #699. He attended Shield of Faith Ministries. Kenneth enjoyed gardening, deer hunting, woodworking, fishing, traveling, bowling and was a big University of Michigan Fan. Kenneth loved and adored his family and spending time with them.

Kenneth will be missed by his wife, Nancy; son, Brian (Tammie) Thom; daughters, Vicki (Robert) Matthias and Lisa (Norman) Villareal; grandchildren, Amanda, Nicole, Zachary, Aaron, Ryan, Brooke, Larry, Shelby, Leah, Asher, Phenix and Carson; 12 great grandchildren; his sisters, Jeanette Rutch, Nancy Duranso and Barbara (Dave) Reisig; brother, Jim (Charlotte) Thom and sister-in-law, Betty Thom. He was predeceased by his brother, Fred Thom.

Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, at Shield of Faith Ministries, 10322 Swan Creek Road. Pastor Weldon Townsend will officiate. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, October 6, 2020, from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road and on Wednesday at the church from 12:00 Noon until the time of service. Pursuant to the current state executive order, indoor building capacity is limited, face covers are required and social distancing encouraged.
