Kenneth A. LaBelle

Our loving father and grandfather passed away on Saturday, July 06, 2019. Age 88 years. Kenneth was born on July 30, 1930, son of the late Clarence and Erma (Bremer) LaBelle, in Saginaw. He married Joan Litzner on November 4, 1972. She predeceased him on February 9, 2015. Kenneth served in the U.S. Navy for 21 years. He retired from the Saginaw Public School District where he was a Welding Instructor at the former Saginaw Career Opportunities Center, after many years of service. Kenneth was a member of Ducks Unlimited, Brant Rifle & Pistol Club and the former Maple Hill Golf Club for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, painting, snowmobiling and spending time with his family and friends. He had a loving personality and never met a stranger. Kenneth will be missed by his children, Kathryn Brutton (Rick Fowler), Lee (Trina) LaBelle and William (Sally) LaBelle; grandchildren, Kasey Brutton, Tonya and Steven LaBelle; great grandson, Levi LaBelle; also many other relatives and friends including his special nieces and nephew, Kathleen, Kristine, Paula and Robert; special friends, Liz and Mike Henninger. He was predeceased by his sisters, Irma Hillman and Ann Beythan and his brother, Don LaBelle. Honoring Kenneths wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14, 2019, at the Brant Rifle and Pistol Club, 9300 S. Raucholz Road, St. Charles 48655. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider Ducks Unlimited.
