Kay Nuerminger

Nuerminger, Patricia Kay Saginaw, Michigan Passed away quietly on Friday, March 30, 2018 at the age of 82 years. The daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret (Richards) Smith was born on December 2, 1935 in Saginaw. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School, the class of 1953. On December 21, 1958 she married Donald E. Nuerminger; he survives her. Kay worked at Saginaw General Hospital as a credit manager before joining her husband in business at Dons Welding Shop where they worked together for over 24 years. Kay was a member of the American Business Women Association. She enjoyed fishing and hunting at the family property in Beulah. Kay was famous for the wonderful cookies she baked. Survivng besides her husband of 59 years, Don, are their son Todd (Roberta) Nuerminger, grandchildren: Jordan, Samantha, Zack, her sister: Valerie Lynn Gilchrist, brothers-in-law Tom Burger, Jerry Newmin, a several nieces, nephews and many great-nieces, great-nephews, relatives and friends. Kay was predeceased by a son, Donnie, her sister Byrd Ann Burger and brother-in-law Jim Gilchrist. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Brad Terhune will officiate with burial at Kochville United Methodist Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
