Karl Paul Glave Chicago, IL Formerly of Saginaw, MI Passed away on Monday, February 10, 2014, in Chicago, IL at the age of 52 years. He was the beloved son of Sharon Peterson (Dennis), Tampa, FL and Jerry Glave (Carol), Ithaca, MI. He is predeceased by his Grandparents, Val and Berenice Jersevic and Karl and Francis Glave. He leaves behind his wife, Andrea Hazen, New York City, brother, Matthew Glave (Anita), Encino, CA. Also left behind are step-sisters and brothers, Rhonda Belden (Todd), Grand Rapids, MI, Lisa Love (Jeff), Tuscon, AZ, Kristen Peterson, Phoenix, AZ, Todd Peterson, Portland, OR and Jason Peterson (Angie), Chicago, IL., nieces, Madeline and Roxy Glave and Bella Frisbey . He leaves his loving aunts, Valerie Jersevic, Saginaw, and Elaine Harding, Ehrenberg, AZ, and Uncle, Lyle Ostrander, Saginaw, as well as many cherished cousins. Unforgettable memories remain with cousins, Mitch Uhlman, Karina McDonald, Dakota Jersevic, Vanessa Uhlman, Natalie Bishop and childhood best friends, Tom Wilbur and Greg Zito, all with whom he had a special relationship. Karl was a graduate of Ohio University and Co-owner of "Sagen", a manufacturer of fine furniture located in Chicago. Karl was a skilled artist, master craftsman, archer, traveler and photographer. His love of art and music was unmatchable. He was an avid reader and his books were some of his most cherished possessions. He was the family "go-to" guy for answers to most questions. He especially loved the time he spent with his friends in Idaho in the dead of winter as it never got too cold for him. His sensitivity knew no bounds. He was unique. He loved his family and the Saginaw family home with a passion. He was the keeper of family memorabilia. His loss will be enduring for all those who lives crossed paths and were touched by this special man. He was loved. A celebration of his life will be held at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N.
