June A. Niersel Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, September 8, 2014. Age 89 years. June was born June 29, 1925 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of the late Glen and Viola (Massoll) Chapin. She married Donald Niersel, April 19, 1947, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hemlock. Donald predeceased her September 13, 1996. June attended school in Hemlock and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church and the U.R.G.E. retirees club. She worked at Lufkin Rule Company. June loved being with all her family. She is survived by her beloved daughter, Linda Niersel, Saginaw, MI; a sister, Donna Graebner, Port Charlotte, FL; two brothers and their wives, Glen and Marjorie Chapin, AuGres, MI; Ronald and Karen Chapin, Hemlock, MI; many dear nieces and nephews. A son, Bruce, predeceased her. The family would like to thank Dr. Louis Byrne's office for over 40 years of excellent medical care and a special thank you to Edgewood Assisted Living Staff and especially "B" Hall care givers for all the personal attention and all the love they gave June. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014, at Peace Lutheran Church. Rev. Paul Hinz will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
