Juanita Guerra

Juanita Guerra Saginaw, Michigan Our loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother passed away and reunited with her husband Salvador Oros.Guerra, on Monday, January 29, 2018, age 79 years. She was born on June 16, 1938, daughter of the late Lorenzo and Juanita (Medina) Ramirez in Tamaulipas, Mexico. Juanita married Salvador Oros.Guerra on July 15, 1955. He predeceased her on May 23, 2014. She was a woman with a big heart, many talents and a green thumb. She enjoyed gardening, baking, cooking, sewing, crocheting, singing and going to rummage sales. Juanita enjoyed watching Michigan sports, especially the Detroit Tigers. She will be missed by her children, Graciela (Jerry) Kuchar, Salvador (Dinah) Guerra Jr, Reynaldo (Carolynn) Guerra and Ramiro (Anna) Guerra Sr; her grandchildren, Rebekah Marie DelaGarza, Salvador (Deanna) Guerra III, Carlos Guerra, Sarah Guerra, Crystal Guerra, Nazario (Jennifer) Guerra, Reynaldo (Marilyn) Guerra Jr, Marcelino Guerra, Katrina Guerra, Arianna Guerra, Jacob Guerra, Noel Torres, HannahLee (Aldair) Montemayor and Ramiro Guerra Jr.; her great grandchildren including her special great grandson,"Tonyito" Rios; one great-great grandson; her siblings, Celia Trevino, Antonio (Berta) Ramirez, Roberto Ramirez, Erasmo (Margaret) Ramirez, Jesse (Regina) Medina and Maria (Albert) Garcia; her special niece, Mary Ann Ramirez of San Antonio, TX, son-in-law, Francisco Eguia and her special friend, Soledad Guzman. She was predeceased by her daughter, Mary Anita Eguia, grandson, Ricardo Bernal DelaGarza Jr, sister, Aurora Ovalle, brothers, Carlos and Joseph Ramirez. The family would like to extend their appreciation for the care given for Juanita by her daughter-in-law, Dinah Guerra and her niece, Rosalinda Lopez. Memorial service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. John Litvinskas will officiate with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
