Joyce Elaine Davidson Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, May 1, 2017, at the Cartwright Hospice Residence. Age 88 years. The daughter of the late Viola Garnetta (Krause) and George Niebel was born, June 11, 1928, in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Saginaw High School. She married Ray Davidson, June 4, 1949. He passed away July 24, 1995. Joyce was employed by Lufkin Rule, G.M.A.C. and retired from the Saginaw Township School System. She was a longtime, active member of State Street United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir, was a member of the Altar Guild, Church circles, and a member of the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed her card club, loved hummingbirds and angels. Surviving are three daughters, one son and their spouses, Vickie L. and David R. Murray, Bay City, MI; Michele R. and Michael Valentine, Greenfield, IN; Brad J. and Janet (Matthias) Davidson, Hope, MI; Lisa J. and David Felske, Livingston, TX; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. A sister, Almeda Zidick, has predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2017, at State Street United Methodist Church. Rev. Monique French will officiate with burial in Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may call at the Church from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service.
