Joseph Mazzola, Jr.

Joseph Mazzola, Jr. of Saginaw, Michigan, Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, at Ascension St. Marys Hospital. He was 85 years old. Joseph Mazzola was born on January 30, 1934, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Joseph and Angeline (Orlando) Mazzola, He married the love of his life Gladys Carol Cornish on September 28, 1957, in Saginaw; she preceded him in death on July 12, 2019. He was a proud employee of General Motors; retiring after 35 years of service. Surviving are two sons: Mike Mazzola of Saginaw Township; Mark Mazzola, and his wife, Sandy, of Saginaw Township; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; three brothers. A private funeral service was held at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Burial has taken place at St. Andrew Cemetery.
