Joseph A. Eickholt Auburn, Michigan Our beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the age of 78 years. Joseph was born December 22, 1937, in Detroit to the late Alfred and Agnes (Weigl) Eickholt. He worked for the Saginaw County Road Commission and retired from General Motors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, farming, being outdoors, and working in his shed. He is survived by his wife of 54 years Frances (Humpert) Eickholt; children, Kathleen (Brian) Hinson, Josephine Sutton, Jennifer Eickholt, and Mark Eickholt; granddaughters, Becky, Amanda, Anna, and Emily; and many extended family members. He was predeceased by his daughter Brenda Eickholt; and by his brother Jim Eickholt. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 1, 2016, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Road with burial to follow in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
