John Frank Kujawa

John Frank Kujawa Bridgeport, Michigan Passed away Thursday, May 12, 2016, at Covenant Cooper. Age 92 years. The son of the late Anna (Lateski) and Frank Kujawa was born July 12, 1923 in Fosters, Michigan. He married Virginia Lazowski, August 31, 1946. His wife of 70 years survives him. He retired from General Motors. He was an active member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, St. Christopher site, where he served as an Usher for over 60 years. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council 593, Williamson Rd. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. Surviving besides his wife, Virginia, are two daughters and their husbands, Bernetta and Ron Gobeyn, Bridgeport, MI; Racheal (Shelly) and Tim Pretzer, Colorado; four grandchildren and their spouses, Nathan and Amanda Gobeyn, Bridgeport, MI; Philip and Brit Gobeyn, California; Bryan and Nicole Pretzer, Colorado; David and Alicia Pretzer, Washington; six great grandchildren, Charlotte and Claire Gobeyn; Alexa Gobeyn; Tim (T) Pretzer; Camden Pretzer; one sister, Genevieve Reardon, Florida and his beloved cat, K.C. Mr. Kujawa's family will receive visitors at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. with Fr. John Mancini, O.S.F.S. officiating. Private entombment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
