Joann Lola McMall

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the age of 83 years. The daughter of the late Clarence and Carrie (Berry) Hughes was born on May 10, 1934 in Saginaw. Joann graduated from Arthur Hill High School. She married William J. McMall on July 2, 1955; he predeceased her on February 12, 2018. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and retired from Community State Bank. Joann enjoyed playing cards and bowling. Surviving are a son, two daughters and their spouses, Steven J. and Rebecca McMall; Sandy and Dave Hofacker; Teri Benson; five grandchildren and their spouses, Christopher and Tangie McMall; Mark and Crystal Kirby; Rachael and Justin Lipscomb; Steve and Briana Czymbor; Matthew Benson; four great grandchildren, Britney, Chloe, Elijah and Ava; several nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Ginger. Two sons-in-law, Walter Czymbor and Timothy R. Benson, a sister, Geraldine Kohlmeyer and two brothers: Kenneth Hughes, and Richard Hughes have predeceased her. In accordance with Joanns wishes, private committal services have taken place.
