Jennie Jo Wood

Jennie Jo Wood Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at Stonecrest Assisted Living. Age 62 years. The daughter of Josephine (Spadafore) and the late Alvin Wood was born October 3, 1955. She was employed by Hemlock Semi Conductor, retiring with over 30 years of service. She was a member of St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary in Hemlock Church. She enjoyed traveling, loved playing golf, and most of all spending time with her daughter, Sarah, and family. Surviving besides her daughter, Sarah, and mother, Josephine, are four brothers, one sister and their spouses, Frank and Karla Wood; Steve Wood: Ann Wood; Joe and Cheryl Wood; Paul and Lisa Wood; many nieces, nephews and friends. A brother, Alvin Wood III, has predeceased her. The funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 10, 2018, at St. John XXIII Parish, Sacred Heart Church in Merrill. Rev. Dennis J. Kucharczyk will officiate with burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may then call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, in Merrill from 4:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friends may then call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the funeral liturgy.
