Jeffrey Alan Clay

Passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2017 with his children at his side, at the age of 58 years. The son of the late Robert and Barbara (Mcanany) Gray was born on April 10, 1959 in Saginaw. He worked as a contractor. Jeff enjoyed golfing, bowling, camping and cheering on all of the Detroit Sports teams. He most especially enjoyed time spent with his family including cheering on his "Best Buddy" Cayden during his hockey games. Surviving are his children: Jeffrey M. Clay and Melissa L. (Taylor) Peck, and his grandson and best buddy: Cayden Peck, also 3 brothers and 5 step-siblings and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral service will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, October 19, 2017 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family so they can support local children through the holiday season- a tradition Jeff participated in.
