Passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020, due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident at the age of 58 years. Jeffery was born on April 14, 1962, the son of Sharon (Fitzgerald) Thompson and the late Richard Thompson Sr. He married Sandra Peitsch on August 22, 2009; she survives him. Jeffery honorably served his country by serving in the United States Marine Corps. He had been employed with B & J Tooling for many years. Jeffery was a member of the Lutheran faith and a member of the VFW Post 7302 – Hemlock Merrill Post.
Surviving besides his wife Sandra and his mother Sharon Thompson; a step-son, William (Jolyn) Miller; 8 grandchildren: Kadin, Ally, Damion, Xander, Landon, Willow, Nicholas, and Tabatha; two brothers: Richard (Pam) Thompson Jr. and Victor Thompson. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Daniele Newman and his father, Richard Thompson Sr.
A private committal service has taken place at Great Lakes National Cemetery.
