Jean Ann Welch

Welch, Jean Ann Merrill, MI Our beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister passed away Sunday, February 2, 2014, at the age of 49. Jean Ann was born December 9, 1964, in Midland to Grace (McMahon) and the late William Stittsworth. She married James Welch on October 14, 1989; he survives her. She grew up in Farwell and graduated from Farwell High School in 1983. She enjoyed spending time with her 2 boys, camping at Torch Lake, visiting the cabin, snowmobiling, and fishing. Jean was a kind, thoughtful, caring person who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Beside her husband she is survived by her children, Dominic and Zach; sisters, Laura (Stan) Keller and Amy (Ron) White; several nieces and nephews; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mary Shannon Welch and John (Barbara) Welch; good friends Grant and Gwen Glazier and Ann and Randy Good. She was predeceased by her parents-in-law, Dominic and Mary Jane Welch. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at W.L. Case & Company 125 E. Saginaw St in Merrill. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home on Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
