Janice I. Munson Birch Run, Michigan Went home to be with her LORD and Saviour, Jesus Christ, following a long battle with cancer. Janice passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2016, at her home, at the age of 78 years. Janice was born March 5, 1938, in Saginaw County, Michigan, the daughter of the late Anthony and Viola (Watt) Traub. She married Ron Munson on September 27, 1954; he survives her. She was a member of Sheridan Road Baptist Church, and served the Lord as a Sunday School teacher and in many other capacities of the church making an inpact on the lives of countless individuals. Surviving are her husband, Ron; four sons and their spouses, Eric (Lynn) Munson, Glen Munson, Dan (Michelle) Munson, Dave (Sarah) Munson; ten grandchildren: Laura, Richard, Mike, Heidi, Alyssa, James, Jason, Shelby, Mark and Madison; three great-grandchildren, Rowan, Kayla and Madison; her sister, Mary Bradley; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her brother, Tony Traub. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Sheridan Road Baptist Church, 6911 Sheridan Road. Pastor Lou Jurva will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Janice's family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway, from 2:00 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 8:00 p.m. Friday, and then at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
