Janice Carol MacDonald Hemlock, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to the Lord on Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at the age of 70 years. Janice was born November 3, 1945, in Hemlock to the late Frederick and Lillian (Fiting) Breternitz. She married Eugene MacDonald on January 13, 1973; he predeceased her on January 13, 2013. She enjoyed camping, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. She is survived by her children, Tracie (Travis) Lindsay, Tammy Watson, and Trisha (Gary Stroebel) MacDonald; grandchildren, Alexus, Lillian, Catherine, and Kaeden; great-granddaughter, Agatha; siblings, Ron (Karen) Breternitz, Gayla (Wesley) Butcher, Roger (Pam) Breternitz, and Randy (Karen) Breternitz; sisters-in-law, Lee Breternitz and Dianne Breternitz; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son-in-law, Kurt Watson; and her brothers, Robert and Roy Breternitz. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 2, 2016, at St. Peter Lutheran Church 2461 N. Raucholz in Hemlock. Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate with burial to follow in Richland Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W.L. Case & Company 201 N. Miller Rd. on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
