James Leland Conklin

James Leland Conklin Merrill, Michigan Passed away suddenly, April 23, 2014, at his home. Age 64 years. The son of the late Martin and Marquerite (Tryon) Conklin was born August 16, 1949 in Wheeler, Township. He married Kathleen M. Bow. She survives him. He retired from General Motors. He enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, hunting and travelling up north but most of all loved his grandchildren and family. Surviving besides his wife, Kathleen, are two daughters and their husbands, Kristen and Daniel Kerbleski; Amy and Chad Pauler; seven grandchildren, Sadee, Sable, Eva, Nolan, Ariel, Wesley and Andrew. In accordance with James' wishes, cremation has taken place. Committal service will take place later at St. Mary's Cemetery, Hemlock.
