Tapley, James Frank Murrieta, California Passed away Monday, September 1, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family, age 72 years. Jim was born May 18, 1942 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada the son of the late Linwood and Helen (Shaw) Tapley. He married Karen Hanson November 24, 1962 and she survives him. Jim worked for many years for Hostess Cakes. He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his kids and grandkids at their many sports activities. Jim never met any strangers. He had the knack for starting a conversation with anyone he met. In addition to his wife, Karen, Jim is survived by three children, David (Theresa) Tapley, Crystal Lake, Illinois Michael (Anna ) Tapley and Kim (Dale) Wellman, both of Temecula, California; five grandchildren, Bryan, Megan, Natalie, Amy and Kylie; his brother, John (Martha) Tapley, Bay City, MI. According to his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place 10:30 a.m. Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the Golf Knolls Clubhouse in Murrieta, California
