Jacob Van Mastrigt Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Covenant- Cooper. Age 93 years. He was born in the Netherlands, September 30, 1919. He was married to Maria Stolk in 1946. She survives him. They immigrated to the U. S. in 1956. Jacob was employed by General Motors retiring in 1984. He was a member of Community Christian Reformed Church. Surviving besides his wife, Maria, are four children and their spouses, Case and Nancy Van Mastrigt; Leo and Maria Van Mastrigt; Ledy and Norm Beebe; Leny and Lowell Tenpas; nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren; four sisters; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 3, 2012, at the Community Christian Reformed Church, 6045 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Nathan Gritter will officiate with entombment in Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the funeral service.
