Ida Marie Minnis

Ida Marie Minnis Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, November 28, 2015, at the Masonic Pathways in Alma. Age 83 years. The daughter of the late Thurman L. and Wilma (Crandall) Lang was born January 21, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan. She married Ralph B. Minnis, January 27, 1959. He passed away December 4, 1996. She retired from St. Mary's Hospital with over 20 years of service. She was a member of Countyside Church, enjoyed crocheting, baking and cake decorating. She was an avid Detroit Red Wings fan. Surviving are five children and their spouses, Vickie and Bruce Palmer; Ralph Minnis Jr. and his wife, Faith; Jeff and Michelle Minnis; Scott and Julie Minnis; Rob and Lori Minnis; five grandchildren, Jake, Rachel, Sarah, Madison, Tyler and Tanya; a great granddaughter, Ember; a brother and his wife, Brian and Jo Lang, one nephew, two nieces. A son, Randy, has predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Kenneth Parker will officiate with burial in Cook Cemetery. Friends may call at the Chapel from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Monday.
