Helen Marie Kamischke

Helen Marie Kamischke Saginaw, MI Beloved mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the age of 73 years. The daughter of the late Joseph and Ruth (Hanson) Carpenter was born on April 22, 1940 in Saginaw. She married Ray H. Kamischke on November 28, 1959; he predeceased her on May 3, 2003. Helen worked for Kroger's before her retirement. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and going out for meals. She also spent a lot of time praying for those in need. Surviving are her children: Laura (Chris) Nance, David (Pat) Kamischke , Joan (Donny) Serrato, grandchildren Kelly (Dave) Burress, Kimberly Nance, Krystal (Jeff) Nance, Ashley (Paul) Horny, Rachael Kamischke, Ryan Kamischke, Frank Granger, great-grandchildren: Nathan, Brandi, Austin, and Brandon Burress, Caleb and Grace Horny, great-great-grandson Ashton Simpson, her siblings: Patrick (Sally) Carpenter, Ann Ashbaugh, Louis Carpenter, Richard (Alice) Carpenter, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 10:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate with burial at Chapel Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N.
