Gloria C. Mosqueda Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away peacefully, June 4, 2017, surrounded by her family at her side. She was 86 years old. Gloria was born in Weslaco, Texas, on March 12, 1931(raised in Villagran Tamaulipas, Mexico) to the late Epifanio Artemio and Guadalupe (Barajas) Callejas. She married Felix Mosqueda, October 31, 1959. He predeceased her, November 5, 2000. Gloria was a very compassionate, loving, caring and giving person. She was known for her good cooking with her specialty "Tamales". In the past she was employed by El Gallito, El Charro, and Rodriquez restaurant. Many good memories for her. She was a lifetime member of St. Joseph Church where she was a member of the "La Rondalla" choir group. She enjoyed going to the casino, was an avid Detroit Tigers fan, playing Chulupa (Bingo) with her grandchildren and great- grandchildren at family gatherings and playing her harmonica for family and friends. She enjoyed gardening, especially taking care of her vegetables and flowers. Surviving are her three children, Arturo Mosqueda, Marina (Alberto) Guerrero; Mary (Robert) Rivera; her eight-grandchildren, Arturo Narvaiz, Priscilla (Dave) Zamora, A.J. Guerrero, Andres (Andrea) Espinoza; Adam (Shaykco) Mosqueda, Abigail Mosqueda, Marina and Benito Rivera; nine great-grandchildren, respectfully number ten on the way soon; Her brothers, Guadalupe, and Fernando Callejas: her special niece, Yolanda (Callejas) Brenner, her sisters-in-law, Juanita and Rose; many other nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by sibling, Josephina, Segundo (Ray), Artemio, Trinidad, Jose, Simona, Ramona, Martin and Lolo; and her sisters-in-law Rachael and Blanca, her brother-in-law, Amado Lopez. The funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, June 9, 2017, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th St. Saginaw. Rev. Frank Voris O.F.M. Cap will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy from 2:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. Friends may then call at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Friday until the time of the funeral liturgy. Ella era predeceased por hermano, Josefina, Segundo (Ray), Artemio, Trinidad, Jos, Simona, Ramona, Martin y Lolo; y sus cuadas Rachael y Blanca, su cuado, Amado Lpez. La liturgia de funeral llevar a cabo en 11:00 viernes, 09 de junio de 2017, en la iglesia catlica St. Joseph, 910 N. 6th St. Saginaw. El Reverendo Frank Voris O.F.M.
