Georgena A. Dilts

Georgena A. Dilts Alpena, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Wednesday May 8, 2019 at the age of 92 years. Georgena was born January 18, 1927 in Flint Michigan, the daughter of the late John and Carrie (Anderson) Gosselin. She was a member of St. Anne Catholic Church in Alpena. In 1946, she left Saginaw where she worked at Davis drugstore and later Fame Dry Cleaners. She worked at Fraser Products during the war and then Spears Drugstore in Alpena. She married Duane Curry and he predeceased her she then married Dale Dilts who also predeceased her. Surviving are her children: Ken Dilts, Dale Dilts, Steve (Lesli) Curry, Mary Humpert, Karen (Richard) Runie, Dennis Curry, Cathy Mahoney and Robert (Sandy) Curry: she has 25 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; also a sister Laura Bigelow, a brother Don Gosselin. Besides her two husbands, she was predeceased by a daughter, Debra Melchor, three grandchildren, Andrew Dilts, Christopher Carrigan and Stephanie Curry, a great granddaughter, Roselyn Beard and two sons-in-law, Bernie Humpert and Ralph Mahoney, six brothers and a sister. The family would like to thank her special friend, Bree and The Care Team including Anita. The funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 13, 2019 at St. Ann Catholic Church, All Saints Parish, 817 Sable St. Alpena, Michigan. Rev. Fr. Scott Lawler will officiate with burial to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may visit at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019 and then on Monday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
