Genevieve Baumgartner Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, February 16, 2018, at St. Marys Hospital. Age 86 years. The daughter of the late Veronica (Malecki) and Orris Bryce was born July 16, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan. She married George L. Baumgartner Sr. June 19, 1948. He passed away July 31, 2007. Genevieve enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, going to the casino and bowling. She was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan, but most of all, enjoyed spending time with her family. Surviving are 8 children and their spouses, Debbie Varney; George Baumgartner Jr. and his wife, Kerry; Mike and Rosie Baumgartner; Brenda and Jim Davis; Becky and Rusty Reppuhn; Susie and Jim Dietrich; Chris Baumgartner; Andy Baumgartner; 15 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; seven brothers and sisters and their spouses, Kathy Chernich; Ricky Bryce; Gary Bryce; John Bryce; Joanie Hall; Timmy and Roxanne Bryce; David and Tori Bryce; her sisters-in-law, Helen, Dorothy and Diane Bryce; a brother-in-law, Danny Cline; many nieces and nephews. A daughter, Gayle Clayton, a son, Daniel Baumgartner; a son-in-law, Harry Varney; her step-mother, Ruth Bryce, and nine sisters and brothers, Barbara, Beatrice, Eugene, James, Thomas, Judy, Roberta, Linda, Orris Jr. have predeceased her. The funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 19, 2018, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
