Gary Joseph Ulicki Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Monday, January 21, 2013, at his home. Age 59 years. The son of Joseph and Maxine (Albrecht) Ulicki was born March 29, 1953 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Sandra J. DeGuise, July 18, 1975. She survives him. Gary graduated from Michigan State University in 1976 with a Bachelor's of Science in Education. He was employed by Saginaw Machine Systems for several years, then Wright-Kay Technologies, M.R.C, then currently as Purchasing Director for Cignys. He was an active member of First Baptist Church/Beacon of Hope Church. Gary was active with the Special Olympics for many years, an avid golfer, enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, fantasy baseball, Detroit Tiger Baseball and his beloved Spartans. Surviving besides his wife, Sandra, his parents, Joseph and Maxine, are his daughter, Janel Minnis and her husband, Aaron, Ovid, MI; his son, Aaron Ulicki, Saginaw; two grandchildren, Reagan and Natalie Minnis; Two sisters, one brother and their spouses, Pamela and Michael Gill; Brian and Susan Ulicki; Laurel and Jeff Jenkins, all of Saginaw; his nieces and nephews, Dana and Joe Gill; Jenna, Brighan, Aubreigh Ulicki; Karli and Mallory Jenkins; a great niece, Peityn (Gill) Hatfield; an aunt, Irene Videan; a special thank you to his sister-in-law, Linda DeGuise, for her care and help during his illness. Gary was predeceased by his golden retriever, Kasey. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2013, at the Beacon of Hope Church, 2109 West Michigan Ave. Saginaw. Pastor Tucker Gunneman will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw from 6:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday January 23, 2013 and 2:00-5:00 and 6:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2013 and then on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
