Frieda Ella Tillman Saginaw, Michigan Went to the Lord on July 24, 2017, at the age of 91, joining her husband Charles Tillman and son Frank Tillman that predeceased her. Frieda was born February 25, 1926, in Saginaw to the late Frank and Alma (Sperling) Leddy. She married Charles Tillman on June 1, 1946; he predeceased her in 1981. She was a member of the React Group. She was an extremely hard worker and put her whole heart into everything she did. She will be dearly missed by her granddaughters, Renee (Robert) Leal and Jessica (Jeffrey Earl) Tillman; grandchildren, Sable, Raven, Jason, and Jeffrey; daughter-in-law, Joan Tillman; brother, Fred Leddy; niece, Joanne Villarreal; and several nieces and nephews; loving friend, Russell W. Dowis and his children, Margo Dowis, Jacqueline Dowis, Virginia (CJ) Latty, Yvonne Sopcak, Roger (Cindy) Dowis, Ronald Dowis, Russell P. (Donna) Dowis, Luke Paquette and all of their children. She was predeceased by her son Frank Tillman; siblings, Donald (Rosemary) Leddy, Sarah (Jack) Hogie, and Bernice (Joseph) Slumka; and Russells children, Bonnie Joann Paquette and Mark Sopcak. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 26, 2017, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
