Floyd Edward McMall

Floyd Edward McMall "Pink" Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved father and uncle passed away October 10, 2015, at the age of 89 years. Floyd was born September 30, 1926 to the late Elmer and Effie (O'Dell) McMall. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He married Shirley J. Close on October 14, 1950; she predeceased him on December 28, 1998. He was loved by all that knew him and he was the favorite uncle. He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, golfing. He loved the railroad because of his time working at the Pere Marquette during his youth. He was a master electrician for nearly 50 years and a member of I.B.E.W. Local 557 in Saginaw. He is survived by his daughters, Janet Light and Carol (John) Kevan; brother, Howard (Nancy) McMall; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Dennis Light and brother, Allen McMall. Memorial visitation will take place from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Road. Military honors will be rendered by VFW Post #1566. Floyd loved animals and was a proud veteran so in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Amazing Grace Animal Rescue or to the Aleda E. Lutz V.A. Hospital. www.casefuneralhome.com
