Ezra W. Kreger Hemlock, Michigan A lifetime Iva resident passed away Wednesday October 12, 2016 at home. Age 90 years. The son of the late William and Anna (Dankwardt) Kreger was born August 1, 1926 in Hemlock, Michigan. He married Norine Harms, October 11, 1947. She passed away December 1, 2001. Ezra served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a farmer all of his life and loved hunting, country music and fast pitch softball. He was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church, Iva. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Roger Kreger, Diane and Jim McQuiston, Dennis and JoAnn Kreger, Keith and Tammy Loranger-Kreger; his grandchildren, Jeff and Greg McQuiston; Kevin and Eric Kreger, Samantha and Glen Rowley; his great grandchildren, Jared McQuiston, Andrew and Addison Rowley; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Erwin Kreger and three sisters, Helen Otter, Nora Nothelfer and Nina Jerry. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 15, 2016, at Zion Lutheran Church, 17927 Dice Rd. Hemlock, MI. Rev. Richard Mundt will officiate with Military burial in Richland Lutheran Cemetery under the auspices of V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may call at the Church from 9:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of the funeral service.
