Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and aunt passed away at her home on Monday, September 28, 2020, at the age of 80 years.

The daughter of the late Marvin and O. Berniece (Everman) Shepherd, Estella was born on March 23, 1940 in Gaylord, Michigan. She graduated from Hemlock High School with the Class of 1958. Estella married John Hudeck in Gaylord, Michigan; he preceded her in death. Estella was gifted and creative, playing the ukulele and keyboard, writing and singing Christian music. Above all, Estella cherished her loving family and friends.

Surviving are a son and a daughter: Tim Dotson; Dawn (Dominic) Baker; two grandchildren: Crystal Rodriguez; Timothy James Dotson; one great-grandson: Gabriel Gipson; one brother and two sisters: Ronald Shepherd; Faye Cruse; Gail (Dave) Kwapis. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Besides her husband and her parents; Estella is preceded in death by a son: Joseph Ronald Dotson; one brother and two sisters: Jack Shepherd; Jane Raymond; Marlene Wade.

Honoring Estella’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private memorial service will take place at a later date. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to a charity of their choice.
