Elmer Dean Miller

Elmer Dean Miller, Wheeler MI Passed away at the age of 77 on Wednesday August 7, 2013 at the University of Michigan Hospital. Elmer was born December 21, 1935 in Wheeler to Ivan and Ida (Fetters) Miller. He married Irene Jones on July 5, 1957 in St Louis. He served in the National Guard with an honorable discharge February 7, 1957 He retired from Saginaw Steering Gear (Delphi) on April 1, 1997 after 30 years of service at plant 3 dept. 47. He also worked at New Moon Homes of Alma and Detroit Mobile Homes, Lufkin Rule, Saginaw MI. He is survived by his son Roger Miller of Midland MI, and his daughter Mary Jo Munoz and her husband Mark Munoz of Katy, Texas. He has 3 grandchildren Faith Miller, Adam Miller, and Ethan Munoz. His brother Kenneth's (deceased) son David Miller and his wife Rita Miller. He is also survived by his sister Harriet Childs, her children Allen, Gary, Lynn, David, and Sharon, and her 42 grandchildren. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at W. L. Case and Company, Merrill. Rev. Rob Richards will officiate with burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 2:00-4:00p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 12:00 noon until the time of the service.
