Ellen L. Rahn

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2019, at Covenant HealthCare-Cooper. She was 75 years old. Ellen L. Wilson was born on February 11, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Albert and Laura (Scherzer) Wilson. She was a proud graduate of Hemlock High School. Ellen was employed in the health care field for many years before working for Hemlock Public Schools as a bus driver. She was a faithful member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hemlock. Ellen enjoyed crafting especially ceramics, knitting, and crocheting. She also had a green thumb and grew many house plants throughout the years. Ellen also enjoyed watching westerns. Above all, she loved and cherished her family, especially her granddaughters. She will forever be remembered for her bright and outgoing personality, her excellent sense of humor, and for her ability to listen and talk to anyone. Surviving are four granddaughters: Laura Easterling of St. Charles; Lillian Easterling of St. Charles; Anna Easterling of St. Charles; and Ashley; two great-grandchildren; one sister, Gail Wolfgram of Denver, CO; a former son-in-law, Ricky (Heather) Easterling of St. Charles; and a former spouse, Gordon Henry of Chesaning. She was preceded in death by a son, Freddy Rahn; and a brother, Ralph Wilson. Honoring Ellens wishes cremation has taken place and no service or visitation will be held. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Peter Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.
