Elizabeth (Betty) Hoff

Elizabeth (Betty) Hoff Saginaw, Michigan Elizabeth (Betty) passed away Sunday April 28, 2019 at St. Marys Hospital, at the age of 83 years. Betty was born March 20, 1936 to the late George and Magdalene (Erli) Ureche. She married Arthur (Boots) Hoff on February 4, 1961, he survives her. The couple spent 58 wonderful years together. Surviving her besides her husband Arthur (Boots) are two sons; Michael (Bert Hallewas) Hoff, and Geoffry Hoff; two sisters and two brothers; Lillian Giltrop, Kathleen Engelhardt, Paul Ureche and George Ureche. She is also survived by her sister- in- laws Carol Katchmir, Barbara Hoff, and Kristina Brown as well as many nieces and nephews and close friends Carmen, Luisa and Chrys. Betty was preceded in death by her siblings Magdalene Wood, John Ureche, Helen and Albert Smith, and James and Paulette Ureche. She is also predeceased by her brother- in- laws Ronald Hoff, Norbert Engelhardt and George Giltrop. A funeral service will take place at 1:00pm on May 3, 2019 at W.L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Mark Loest will officiate. Burial will follow in Buena Vista Township Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00am until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a charity of their choice.
