Elaine Louise Harding (Jersevic) affectionately referred to as “Cookie” passed away November 11, 2020. Age 77 years. She was born to the late Val and Berenice (Montgomery) Jersevic, January 25, 1943 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles and daughters, Robin and Natalie Bishop. She is survived by her daughter, Rebecca (Matthew) Kovick; her grandchildren, Hannah Renee (Zachary) Kinsman; Emma Angeline Kovick; Garison Isaiah, Saginaw, MI; her sisters, Sharon (Dennis) Peterson, Tampa, Florida; Valerie Jersevic, Saginaw, MI; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Elaine was a graduate of Saginaw High School and a member of the U.S. Air Force. She retired from Aleda E. Lutz Veteran’s Adm. Medical Center, Saginaw, MI. She was a true nature lover and gardener. She had a passion for animals, collecting rocks and reading books. Her vibrant personality, generous Spirit and hearty laugh will be remembered by all who knew her. In her last years, she found much joy in being in the company of her Saginaw family.
Her whole family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the caregivers at HealthSource, Great Lakes, for their outstanding kindness and attention that they showed to Elaine during her stay.
