Passed away April 14, 2020 at the Rivera Palms Rehabilitation Center, Palmetto, Florida of Covid 19. Age 78 years.
The son of the late Margaret (Marzluft) and Stephen Jungnitsch was born May 2, 1941 in Saginaw County. He married Kathryn Dommer, December 9, 1961. His wife of 58 years survives him. He was a 30 year member of the Teamsters and a lifelong farmer. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, Hemlock. He enjoyed spending time in the woods, cutting wood, deer hunting and traveling.
Surviving besides his wife, Kathryn, are two children, Jennifer Jungnitsch (James Preston) and John Jungnitsch (Lori Lamont); two grandsons, Daniel Anderson and Justin Jungnitsch; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Marlene Flinn, Salt Lake City, UT; Barbara and Nick Shields, Hemlock, MI; a sister-in-law and her husband, Carolyn and Floyd McKinney, Columbus, OH; several nieces and nephews. An infant son and a brother-in-law, Floyd Flinn have predeceased him.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at date and time to be announced later. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. John Ev. Lutheran Church, General Fund, 2290 Pretzer Rd. Hemlock, MI 48626.
