Edna Arlene Kolton (McQuiston) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014. Age 87 years. She was born January 4, 1927 in Saginaw, Michigan and lived there her entire life. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School, Class of 1945. She worked for Michigan Bell Telephone for 25 years, retiring in 1982. She was predeceased by her husband of 51 years, Harry, on January 4, 1999; her mother, Lydia and father, Lester, step-father, Carl, two brothers, two sisters, a great grandson, Justin Smith and a special friend, Ed Arnold. She leaves five children, Sandy (Jeri) Dennison; Sue (Tom) Munguia; John (Kathy) Kolton; Scott (Tamra) Kolton; Mark Kolton; eight grandchildren, Christopher Dennison; Lisa Casper; Mindy Bauer Chad Kolton; Jamie VanNest; Peter Munguia; Jesi Jo Munguia; Alydia Kolton; thirteen great grandchildren, Joshua Smith; Jessica Dennison; Tessa Jean Dennison; Zachary Bauer; Ryan Bauer; Hannah Bauer; Breyden Bauer; Jack Kolton; Katie Kolton; Lucy Kolton; Kolton VanNest; Noah VanNest; a great great-granddaughter, Emma Jean Dennison; her special friend, Barb Arnold and her cat, Fancy. Edna enjoyed bowling, golfing, and traveling in previous years, going to concerts, playing cards, going to the casino, watching birds, especially the humming birds and chickadees and beautiful sunsets from her west window. She also loved watching the Detroit Tiger Games. After retiring, she delivered Meals On Wheels for a couple of years and helped with funeral lunches for several years. She was a long time attendee of Town Talk Series and Community Concert. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, the League of Catholic Women; the American Legion Auxiliary; the Telephone Pioneers, CWA retirees, and the Loyal Order of the Moose. Private family services will take place. In lieu of flowers a donation could be made to the Saginaw Rescue Mission, SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church or the charity of their choice. www.casefuneralhome.com
