Dorothy M. Curtis

Dorothy M. Curtis Vassar, Michigan Passed away peacefully with family by her side, Wednesday, January 22, 2020. Age 85 years. Dorothy Eichinger was born November 14, 1934 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Gerald and Eleanor (Techentien) Eichinger. She was married to Charles Curtis, August 3, 1954. He predeceased her July 10, 1995. Dorothy was a member of St. Lorenz Lutheran Church. She enjoyed traveling, gardening and activities with her grandchildren. Surviving are three daughters, Mary Palomarez, Freeland, MI; Karen Collis, Clio, MI; Lori Curtis, Caro, MI; and three sons, Robert Curtis, Vassar, MI; Rick Curtis, Strasburg, CO; Mike (Tina) Curtis, Vassar, MI; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; a sister, Betty Weber, Reese, MI; many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Dorothy was predeceased by two sisters, Beatrice Ott, Shirley Nefe and a brother, Robert Eichinger, a son-in-law, Anthony Palomarez and a granddaughter, Melissa Palomarez. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2020 at St. Lorenz Lutheran Church, 1030 W. Tuscola St., Rev. Joel Kaiser will officiate with burial in Riverside cemetery, Vassar. Dorothy's family will receive visitors at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 2:00 - 8:00p.m. Sunday and then on Monday at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
