Doris Edith Brandimore

Brandimore, Doris Edith Saginaw, Michigan Loving mother and grandmother peacefully passed away Monday, March 2, 2015 with her family by her side. The daughter of the late Erwin and Edith (Kramer) Grunow was born on November 1, 1928 in Saginaw. She married Thomas Brandimore on June 14, 1952; he predeceased her on November 13, 2006. Doris was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and playing cards. Surviving are her children: Bruce (Mary) Brandimore, of Grand Ledge, Stephanie (Trip) Miller, Lisa (Dave) Allen and Gina Butcher, all of Saginaw. One of Doris's greatest loves in life was her grandchildren: Adam Brandimore, Todd and Jillian Stuckey, Angie Napora, Lee Miller IV, Leesia Smith, Steve Johnson, Brandon and Mackenzie Allen, Nick and Kayla Butcher along with several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Doris leaves us rich in memories. Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her sister Betty Valentine, and brother Robert Grunow. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 6, 2015 at the W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Susan Hand will officiate with entombment at Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2:00-8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
