Donna M. Knight Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother and grandmother went home to the Lord on October 9, 2017, at the age of 86 years. Donna was born September 29, 1931, in Saginaw to the late Ervin and Alice (Matula) Jarvis. She held various jobs throughout her lifetime. She worked for Gordons Dairy Bar, Bell telephone, and at Knights market where she met her husband. Donna married Deane Knight on May 6, 1953; he survives her. Donna enjoyed knitting, creating hats, mittens, and socks for her beloved family and also for donation. They owned a Wheel camper for 45 years. Her favorite place to camp was at Otsego Lake State Park near Gaylord, Michigan. She had a strong faith in the Lord and was a member of Faith Ev. Lutheran Church. Donna will be missed by the family she loved so much, her husband, Deane; her children, Donn Knight and David (Carol) Knight; grandchildren, Justine Knight, Nathaniel (Olya) Knight, Lysa (Darren) Shaw, and Andrew (Hollie) Knight; great grandson, Noah Knight; her brothers, Dennis (Margaret) Jarvis and Allan (Pam) Jarvis; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Mary Ann Bryan. Funeral services will take place at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 12, 2017, at W.L. Case & Company 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Pastor Karen Knight Price will officiate with burial to follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
