Donald J. Pluto Sr.

Donald Joseph Pluto, Sr. Saginaw, Michigan Our loving husband, father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2018. Age 80 years. He was born on May 8, 1937, son of the late Edna (Piorunek) and Joseph Pluto, in Bad Axe, Michigan. Donald served in the U. S. Army. He married Margaret Hartman on April 17, 1959. She survives him. Donald retired from Delphi in 2005 after 34 years of service and was a member of the U.A.W. Local #699. He enjoyed woodworking, assisting with the Boy Scouts, camping, spending time with his family and keeping them on their toes. Donald will be missed by his wife, Margaret; children, Donald Pluto Jr, Lonnie (Jean) Pluto, Cynthia (Andy) Schmidt, Joseph (Robin) Pluto, Monica and Benjamin Pluto; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his great granddaughter, Kaylee Warian and daughter-in-law, Connie Pluto. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, April 17, 2018 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Pastor Lou Jurva will officiate with entombment in at Oakwood Mausoleum. Friends may visit with the family on Monday at the chapel from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
