Donald A. Haynes

Donald A. Haynes Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Thursday, September 12, 2019, at his home with his family at his side. The son of the late Durant and Pauline (Praay) Haynes was born on April 2, 1941, in Saginaw, Michigan. Donald proudly served for four years in the United States Navy. He was a skilled tradesman for 43 years with General Motors Malleable Iron. Donald married Frances A. Callas in 1963, in Saginaw. He enjoyed cars, and had a great appreciation for American made cars. Donald especially loved the time spent with his son building a Z28 Camaro. Surviving besides his wife of 56 years, Frances; are two children: Donald T. Haynes, April Lynn Haynes; two beautiful granddaughters: Karli and Jada Haynes of Port Neches, Texas; three sisters: Marge, Pat, Sandra; and special friends: Bob Spradlin, Gean Tyra, Gary Wilkins. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family. Donald is preceded in death by two sisters: Betty and Barbara. Honoring Donalds wishes, cremation has taken place. There will be no services.
