Passed away on February 15, 2022 at Stonegate Health Campus at the age of 89 years.
Don was born on April 21, 1932 in Saginaw, MI to the late Delbert L. and Marion Kelly Pasel. He graduated from Arthur Hill High School then served in the United States Coast Guard, stationed in Brooklyn, New York. He married Bonnie Jean Bragas, the love of his life; she predeceased him on June 15, 2010. Don retired from GM Grey Iron Foundry after over 40 years of service. He was an avid golfer, member of Maple Hill Country Club and Bridgeport Michigan Masonic Order member.
Don is survived by his children: Penny Radziewicz (Robert), D. Scott Pasel (Diane) and Paula Boehlke (James); six grandchildren: Carin Van Patten, Scott Pasel (Angie), Jennifer Pasel, Aaron Pasel (Larissa), Kyle Sasena, Chase Boehlke, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
In accordance with Don’s wishes, cremation has taken place and private family services will be held in the spring. Please consider donations to The Arthritis Foundation, Bridgeport Masonic Order or the Humane Society as an expression of sympathy.
