Davis, Dixie Ann Saginaw, Michigan Passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at St. Francis Home at the age of 88 years. The daughter of the late Emil and Marie (Roy) Nothelfer was born on July 8, 1925 in Saginaw County. She married Enoch T. Davis on October 20, 1944; he predeceased her on August 24, 1973. She retired as a human resources manager from K-Mart in 1987. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hemlock. She was a member of the women's auxiliary of HealthSource and also served on the board and worked in the gift shop. Dixie enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Surviving are her children and their spouses: Enoch T. (Alice) Davis, Jr., Stephen (Mary Jo) Davis, Lawrence (Linda) Davis, Kathy (Robert) Vesterfeldt, Keith (Diane) Davis, 21 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, three brothers and two sisters: Bernard Nothelfer, Norris Nothelfer, Orrin (Barbara) Nothelfer, Audrey Walton, Joyce Wilsey and many nieces and nephews. Dixie was predeceased by two sisters and three brothers: Donelda Passow, Ione Murphy, Emil Jerome Nothelfer, Farnumn Nothelfer, Justin Nothelfer, two daughters-in-law Beverly Davis, Roseann Davis and a son-in-law Jack Hoffman. Funeral liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 29, 2014 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 151 St. Mary Rd. Fr. Duane Wachoviak will officiate with burial at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. on Friday from 3:00-5:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. and on Saturday at church from10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
