Diana Joan Pogoreski

Pogoreski, Diana Joan Saginaw, Michigan Went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the age of 72 years. She was born on May 12, 1943 to the late Thomas J. and Verda (Karcher) Morden in Clare, Michigan. The family moved from Clare to the rural St. Louis area and then to Saginaw in 1952. After marrying James C. Pogoreski, they lived in St. Charles for many years where they raised their two children: James H. and Jill. Diana was well loved by those that knew her for her feisty personality. Her passion and love in life was for her husband and her children, whom she loved so much. She is survived by her son, James H. Pogoreski, grandson, Michael Hensler of Saginaw, and her brother, Joel Morden of Boise, Idaho. Diana was predeceased by her husband, James, daughter, Jill, two brothers: Daniel Morden, Peter Morden, and her sister, Christine N. Morden. She is also survived by two sisters-in-law, Nancy (the late Daniel) Morden and Marcia (the late Peter) Morden. Diana, daughter, sister, mother and grandmother, was well loved. She will be missed, but her memories will remain in the hearts and minds of those that knew and loved her. Funeral service will take place at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. Tuesday until the time of service. Rev. Jerry Larkin will officiate.
