Dennis R. Ritter

Our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother passed away on October 28, 2019. He was 70 years old. Dennis was born on May 22, 1949 to the late Elmer and Lottie (Amyotte) Ritter in Saginaw. He was a 1968 graduate of Carrollton High School. Dennis married his high school sweetheart, Christine Peters on September 21, 1968; they shared 51 happy years together. He worked for GM Grey Iron Foundry, retiring after 40 years. Dennis enjoyed going to the casino, golfing, camping, traveling, especially to Panama City Beach, and harassing his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Christine; a daughter, Tammy (Matt) Bishop of Indian River; a son, Thomas Ritter of Moose, WY; two grandchildren, Alysha (Ryan) LaBean of Essexville, and Hunter Bishop of Indian River; a sister, Karen Abram of Saginaw; sister-in-law, Linda Dorey of Saginaw; brother-in-law, Gene Reikowsky; mother-in-law, Beverly Peters; and several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he his predeceased by a brother and sister-in-law, Tyrone and Marge Ritter; a brother, Buddy Ritter; and sister, Sandra Reikowsky. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Bill Bodnar will officiate.
