Denise J. Doggett (Miller)

Denise J Doggett (Miller) Saginaw, Michigan Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, after a courageous battle against brain cancer, age 63 years. She was born on November 6, 1953, daughter of Amber (Newman) and the late Charles Brinkman, in Saginaw. Denise was a graduate of Bridgeport High School, Class of 1971. She married Steven Doggett on October 6, 2012, he survives her. She had been employed at Morley Companies as a trip director, was a Dow Corporate flight attendant and an events coordinator at Apple Mountain. Denise had a passion for customer service. She served on the Hemlock School Board from 1991 to 2000. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Denise enjoyed traveling, shopping, cooking and baking. Surviving along with her mother and husband, are her children and their spouses, Jason and Jennifer Miller of Frankenmuth, Jodi and Ryan Tack of Merrill, Julie and Brett Somerfield of Bay City; seven grandchildren, Hunter, Gage, Nathan, Kyle, Carter, Carmen and Layla; her brothers, Charles and Brenda Brinkman of Florida and James Brinkman of Bridgeport; also many nieces, nephews, dear friends and co-workers. Denise was loved by many. The family would like to thank Brookdale Assisted Living of Saginaw and Heartland Hospice. A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, July 22, 2017, from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road.
